Volunteering
How can I volunteer with BBAlliance?
Have a look at our current volunteer roles on the Get Involved page, or just send us the interest form — we’ll find something that fits the time you have. Most roles need no experience at all. [PLACEHOLDER — review]
Do I need a DBS check to volunteer?
Only for roles working directly with children or vulnerable adults — and we arrange and pay for the check for you. [PLACEHOLDER — review]
Donations
Where does my donation go?
Donations fund our local projects in Blackburn and Darwen first — the pantry, youth clubs and elders’ groups — plus our national and international appeals. Our accounts are published on the Reports & documents page. [PLACEHOLDER — review]
Can I Gift Aid my donation?
Yes — if you’re a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid adds 25p to every £1 you give at no cost to you. Tick the Gift Aid box when you donate. [PLACEHOLDER — review]
